final-2-priests-2-dogsWe will celebrate St. Francis Day this Sunday with the Blessing of the Animals after the 11 o’clock service in the front garden on Fifth Avenue at 10th Street (around 12:30 pm). This is a special celebration of all creatures great and small so please join us. You are also welcome to bring well-behaved pets to church that day. Less well-behaved pets are welcome in the garden. Tell you friends! This is a wonderful outreach to our neighbors. Here is a link to photos of animal blessings from prior years. Sunday Services: 9am Holy Eucharist at Side Altar; 11am Holy Eucharist in the church with sermon, music & choir; 7pm Service of Meditations and Sacrament including chant, interfaith readings and communion. The 11am service includes special music by the Ascension choir (see listing on sidebar); prelude at 10:45am and postlude on The Manton Memorial organ.
