Mark The Date – We’re getting ready for the fall at Ascension! On Sunday, September 25th, the Ascension Choir returns and we’ll enjoy a special coffee hour after the 11 am service. We’ll also have a chance to learn more about what’s planned for the fall and everyone is invited to participate in our first Intergenerational Christian Education event for kids and adults, focusing on Creation. Whether you’ve been away this summer or not, it will be a great day to welcome each other and the new fall season and also to invite your friends and welcome visitors. We hope to see you here!

Mother Liz shares Joseph Fasano’s poem on soul nourishment as she heads on vacation. The poem teaches that our souls need exposure to nature, beauty, holiness, and connection—that they require tending through rest, reading, and attention to what has been forgotten. It reminds us to, from time to time, let our soul kneel “in a place that is holy like the simple cathedral of the willows.”
