The Summer Volunteer Choir will sing this Sunday, July 14, and also on August 11. Rehearsals are in the Parish Hall each of those Sundays at 9:15 (enter through 12 West 11th Street.) Ascension 20’s and 30’s BBQ on Thursday, June 20 at 6:45pm. We will meet in front of the church. All young adults at Ascension are invited to join the clergy for a summer BBQ on Thursday night, June 20 following the 6pm service. Pride Water Table Volunteers Needed – Every year, Ascension serves cold water (with a twist of lemon!) to PRIDE Marchers as they pass the church. We need volunteers to make this happen! This Sunday, June 2, 2019, will include a blessing of the needlework by the Needlecraft Guild. The Ascension Needlework Group meets on the first Wednesday evening of every month to handcraft comfort shawls, hats, and scarves for various groups in need. The comfort shawls and some hats we are blessing this Sunday will go to Mt. Sinai hospital — they will be for patients
