Voices of Ascension March 26 concert postponed

In light of the circumstances involving the COVID-19 coronavirus and directives from the Mayor regarding gatherings of large groups of people in NYC, we have decided to postpone the Brahms German Requiem concert originally scheduled for March 26.

We understand this news will be very disappointing to many, as it is for us. Know that we are fully committed to making music for our community and will endeavor to do so as soon as it is possible.

We will be in touch with ticket holders soon regarding their options. Your patience during this difficult time is greatly appreciated as current circumstances present a real financial challenge to working artists and arts organizations alike.

Please take care of yourselves and your families during this unprecedented time, and with everyone’s support we will get through it together.

Warmly,
The musicians, staff, and board of Voices of Ascension

In a time of contempt for difference, Pentecost reveals the blessing of many tongues and the Holy Spirit’s gift of mutual understanding across culture, faith, and ethnic background.
