O God, the King of glory, you have exalted your only Son Jesus Christ with great triumph to your kingdom in heaven: Do not leave us comfortless, but send us your Holy Spirit to strengthen us, and exalt us to that place where our Savior Christ has gone before; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, in glory everlasting. This Sunday, June 2, 2019, will include a blessing of the needlework by the Needlecraft Guild. The Ascension Needlework Group meets on the first Wednesday evening of every month to handcraft comfort shawls, hats, and scarves for various groups in need. The comfort shawls and some hats we are blessing this Sunday will go to Mt. Sinai hospital — they will be for patients
