Sharing the Light of Christ & Feminism and Faith in Union SquareThis Sunday, January 21, 2018, the Rev. Hershey Mallette-Stephens will continue the forum on story-telling as a way of building community in the church. The forums take place in the Parish Hall after the 11 o’clock service. Mother Hershey serves on the Presiding Bishop’s staff as the Project Coordinator for Reconciliation, Justice and Creation Care. Come and share your stories of faith and doubt, church and justice, and everything!

Also this Sunday, January 21, from 9:30-3:00, women and men of all faiths (or none) are invited to gather in Union Square to pray, protest and call for human rights, equality, peace and care for Mother Earth. The event is spearheaded by our neighbors at St. Francis Xavier, but includes leadership from many faith communities and commemorates the historic Women’s Marches one year ago. Feel free to drop by any time throughout the day; Mother Liz will offer a blessing in between our services, probably around 10am, and will be there for the closing around 2:30pm.
