Ascension members and friends are going to see the New York Liberty play on Sunday, August 27, 2017 in the afternoon. This is the professional women’s basketball team that plays at Madison Square Garden. Quoting Robin Wall Kimmerer, the rector reminds us that “when we work to heal the earth, the earth heals us,” and invites us to deepen our love and commitment to our fragile, beautiful planet.
