Ascension members and friends are going to see the New York Liberty play on Sunday, August 27, 2017 in the afternoon. This is the professional women’s basketball team that plays at Madison Square Garden. In a time of contempt for difference, Pentecost reveals the blessing of many tongues and the Holy Spirit’s gift of mutual understanding across culture, faith, and ethnic background.
