Nominations to the Vestry are now being accepted. Please pick up a nomination form in the back of the church; forms must be submitted to the Nomination Committee by Sunday, December 13. Candidates should be willing and able to attend the Annual Vestry Retreat on Friday evening and all day Saturday, February 5 & 6, 2016 and to be installed as a member on Sunday, February 7, 2016.

Mother Liz shares Joseph Fasano’s poem on soul nourishment as she heads on vacation. The poem teaches that our souls need exposure to nature, beauty, holiness, and connection—that they require tending through rest, reading, and attention to what has been forgotten. It reminds us to, from time to time, let our soul kneel “in a place that is holy like the simple cathedral of the willows.”
