Father Sam Owen is the Priest-in-Charge of the Haitian Congregation of the Good Samaritan in the Bronx, and we were delighted to welcome him back to Ascension on May 16, 2021. After the service, updated us on the situation in Haiti, as well as the New York Haiti Project, in which we participate, and on the church and school in Martel.

An activist, theologian, minister, professor, speaker, musician and author, Dr. Carvalhaes is the Associate Professor of Worship at Union Theological Seminary in New York City.
