Elizabeth Adams is a postulant for the priesthood in the Diocese of New York sponsored by Ascension and we were delighted to hear her preaching this past Sunday. On July 19, she will lead a forum discussion about her vocational plans. Please keep her in your prayers as she departs for Yale Divinity School at the beginning of August.

From this week’s newsletter: Ascension’s ancient parish hall air conditioners overheated during June’s hot weather, prompting replacement with newer, more efficient units. The installation process required removing portraits of past rectors, sparking a task force to consider additional renovations as the parish prepares for its 200th anniversary and the next century of ministry. If all goes as planned with the AC renovation, services should return to the re-air-conditioned Parish Hall on July 19th.
