Join us this Sunday when we celebrate the Feast of Pentecost with the Ascension Choir at the 11 0’clock service (music listed below right). At Pentecost we draw on our various cultural backgrounds as we “hear in our own tongue, etc.,” aloud in sundry languages during the Scripture reading.

Sunday Services include: 9am Holy Eucharist at the side altar; 11am Holy Eucharist in the church with sermon, music & choir; 7pm Service of Meditations and Sacrament including chant, interfaith readings and communion. The prelude on the Manton Memorial Organ is heard at 10:45am. The Ascension Choir will be on summer holiday after this Sunday and will return in September.

The rector invites us to sit with these mysteries during the “dazzling darkness” between Ascension and Pentecost, pondering how we are held and hidden with Christ while called to be his presence in a world of crisis, wonder, and grief.
