Join with the Church of Saint Matthew and Saint Timothy and others from around the Diocese of New York on Sunday, June 10 at 5PM as we remember the shooting at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida with the liturgy of Evensong. Ascension is proud to co-sponsor this service. Throughout the month of June, Pride Month, the church presents an Art Exhibit that comes out of expressions from various Intersection: Faith, latinx, LGBTQ gatherings. For over a year groups of LGBTQ+ and Latinx people of faith have gathered and written poetry together. The poetry is in remembrance of Pulse, and about Pride and Faith. Visit the exhibit and read, gather, write, pray, meditate in this holy place.

She reflects on how these ancient prayers/poems can be lifelong companions across millennia, joining us with others who have prayed them. She invites us to find our own favorites.
