Greening the Church on December 17thGreening the Church, Sunday, December 17, 12:30 p.m. – All are invited to help decorate the church for Christmas. There will be greens to drape, flowers to arrange, cleaning to do and more, all under the expert direction of our own Sara Jones and Sexton, Len Bowman. There will be special refreshments as well- so come, prepare the way of the Lord as we prepare the church for Christmas!

On the 25th anniversary of September 11, Mother Liz invites us to remember those lost, the first responders’ sacrifice, and the courage and compassion that arose amid devastation. Ascension will be open for prayer and reflection from 8 am to 5 pm, with bells tolling at 8:46. She shares a prayer from Bishop Allen Shin, calling us to confront hatred, resist violence, and make peace.
