Summer Bible Study continues on Thursday evenings at 6:45pm. Why not take some time this summer for refreshing lectio divina (sacred reading) of the scriptural texts for the coming Sunday? All are invited to join the Thursday evening Bible study group as we share scripture, silence and conversation together. Either join us for the 6:00pm service and bible study afterward or enter through the Parish Hall at 12 West 11th Street.

For St. Francis Day, Mother Liz shares Galway Kinnell’s poem about St. Francis blessing a sow, reminding us of the sacred work of “reteaching a thing its loveliness.” Through tenderness and touch, we honor the intricate beauty in all creatures. May we see and bless the loveliness in all God’s creation, including ourselves.
