We are happy to be hosting the Wednesday night Sacred Harp group at Ascension through June. No singing experience necessary, and all are welcome to attend. Books are available for loan or purchase at every gathering. The group will either be in the Church or the Parish Hall as our schedule allows – check the “Parish Activities this Week” sectionin the bulletin or call or email the parish office. Here is a link about the singing group.

Parish News: October 4
For St. Francis Day, Mother Liz shares Galway Kinnell’s poem about St. Francis blessing a sow, reminding us of the sacred work of “reteaching a thing its loveliness.” Through tenderness and touch, we honor the intricate beauty in all creatures. May we see and bless the loveliness in all God’s creation, including ourselves.
