The Rt. Rev. Andrew M.L. Dietsche has invited and urges all to join him this afternoon, February 1, together with Bishops Shin and Glasspool from our diocese and Bishops Provenzano, Wolf and Allotey of Long Island, to bear witness to our Christian values and faith in the face of the discriminatory executive order regarding refugees signed last Friday by President Trump. There will be a meeting from 4:30 to 5 p.m. at St. Paul’s Chapel (Broadway and Fulton St.) followed by the protest at 5 p.m. at nearby Foley Square. For more information see this link to his message.

Parish News: April 26
In this week’s newsletter, Mother Liz celebrates Earth Month alongside Eastertide, noting how resurrection speaks not only to humanity but to “the groaning of the whole creation” and God’s determination to make all things new. She observes that when Mary Magdalene mistakes the risen Christ for a gardener, we glimpse the deep interconnection of all beings—and when we touch creation’s wounds with reverence and compassion, we meet God. Quoting Robin Wall Kimmerer, the rector reminds us that “when we work to heal the earth, the earth heals us,” and invites us to deepen our love and commitment to our fragile, beautiful planet.
