Volunteers Needed for Ascension Outreach Food Pantry! We need a little more help during the summer months; the dates are 2nd & 4th Saturdays, July 23, August 13 & 27. We gather around 7:30-8:00 am and finish around 10am, depending on the number of volunteers to pack food bags. If you can assist on one or more Saturdays, contact Fr. Mother Liz shares Joseph Fasano’s poem on soul nourishment as she heads on vacation. The poem teaches that our souls need exposure to nature, beauty, holiness, and connection—that they require tending through rest, reading, and attention to what has been forgotten. It reminds us to, from time to time, let our soul kneel “in a place that is holy like the simple cathedral of the willows.”
