Ash Wednesday is just around the corner. If you have dried palms from last year’s Palm Sunday service please bring them to the church on Sunday, March 2. As we celebrate the Shrovetide season we will burn the palms and make ashes for Wednesday’s services. On this celebratory day we will also enjoy gathering as a community. Please bring a side dish or desert for all to enjoy at coffee hour after the 11am service. This is a wonderful opportunity for everyone to participate in the teaching of Christ’s presence in the world and His great love for all creation.

Parish News: August 23
This week our associate rector, Father Ed, reflects on late summer’s quieter rhythm in the city and the subtle shifts in energy he observes while making pastoral calls. He contrasts the effects of anxiety-inducing news cycles with the neurological benefits of worship and faith community—the oxytocin and endorphins that come from fellowship. He encourages us to keep returning to church, trusting that our shared spiritual practice sustains hope.
