Exsultet & Sermon: Easter Vigil

At the Great Vigil of Easter, on the night before Easter morning, a deacon, priest or cantor chants the Exsultet, an ancient prayer proclaiming God’s saving deeds in history, especially Christ’s resurrection and victory over death.
