Newsletter for July 4

Please join us for worship Sunday, July 4, at 11 a.m. via Zoom.

The rector writes: "As Christians, we pray for our country, but we must not make an idol of it. We may love our nation as we love our families, but we must not ignore its failings. We seek to learn and tell the truth about our history and our present. We are called to contribute to our common life, care for the poor, do justice and love mercy, welcome the stranger and love our enemies."

Parish News: May 11

This week, the rector reflects on the Feast of Julian of Norwich, whose vision of God’s unwavering, mothering love continues to speak powerfully into troubled times. As we approach Mother’s Day, we are invited to contemplate the nurturing, wise, and fierce love of God our Mother — a love that transcends human limitation and remains constant through joy and sorrow. With tenderness and strength, Julian reminds us: “All shall be well.” May we be sustained by that divine love and share it freely in all our relationships.
