As we prepare for Easter, how do we explore an embodied understanding of the resurrection? Our faith in the resurrection? Resurrection for the living? Join in a Lenten retreat led by Mother Liz and colleagues the Rev. Susan Hill (Associate Rector of Holy Apostles and Spiritual Director) and the Rev. Carla Roland (Rector of the Church of St Matthew & St Timothy and Affiliate Faculty at GTS). We will explore themes of death and resurrection as anchored by the readings of the fifth Sunday in Lent. We will have time for prayer, worship, meditation, group art, laughter, rest, and some fun. The retreat center offers beautiful outdoor spaces and the joy of donkeys and goats!
For more information or to reserve your spot please contact Mother Liz. Cost for a single room is $105/night ($210 for the weekend), for a shared room, $70/night ($140 for the weekend). The retreat center offers a shuttle service from the Metro North station at Wassaic. Folks are welcome to arrive for dinner on Friday. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions (dairy, vegan, allergies). The retreat will end with lunch on Sunday.
