On February 10, 2019, distinguished author and teacher, the Rev. Barbara Crafton will be our guest preacher at the 11:00 a.m. service at Ascension and afterward lead a forum on her book, Jesus Wept: When Faith and Depression Meet. In preparation for the forum, those who wish to read the book ahead of time can attend reading sessions with Mother Liz on Thursdays, January 31 and February 7 at 6:45 pm in the rear parlor. Jesus Wept is readily available on Amazon; books will also be available for sale and signing at the forum. This program is an outgrowth of last year’s series on healing.
