Guest preacher on Sunday, April 28th

deb tThe Rev. Canon Deborah G. Tammearu from the Transitional Ministry Office of the New York Diocese will be our guest preacher at the 11 a.m. service and will also join us at coffee hour.

Originally a junior high school science teacher, The Rev. Canon Deborah G. Tammearu is a graduate of the General Theological Seminary in New York City, and has been an Episcopal priest for more than 30 years. She began her ordained ministry at Zion Church, Wappingers Falls, where she served as the Curate, and next served as the Priest-in-Charge of Western Dutchess Ministry, a collaborative coalition of three congregations in Dutchess County, for ten years. She was called by St. Thomas, Mamaroneck to be their fifteenth Rector, leaving that position after nineteen years when Bishop Andrew Dietsche recently appointed her as the diocesan Canon for Transition Ministry.
