Join the festivities at the Ascension Water Table to mark the occasion of the 43rd Anniversary of the Stonewall Riots as we hand out water to marchers. If you wish to RSVP contact Steve Hubbard or sign up on the bulletin board in the Parish Hall. We may have a large crowd near the church since the march route was shortened last year to start at 36th Street and turn west on 9th Street from Fifth Avenue by the reviewing stand. We will set up around noon after the 11 am service.

In this week’s newsletter, the rector invites us to consider Ascension’s columbarium as a resting place for ashes, a dignified space where loved ones can be remembered and visited. Prices rise at the start of 2027, so current rates apply through the end of this year. She notes that planning ahead can bring peace to us and those who love us, and offers to talk through these decisions with those who may wish to.
