On Sunday, June 25, due to the expected duration of the 48th Annual NYC Pride March down Fifth Avenue, there will be no 7pm Service of Meditations and Sacrament. But we hope our cup supply holds out so that we will still being serving water to marchers at that stage. If you’re in the Village for festivities, come by to say hi and — if you’re able — stick around to help clean up our garden and sidewalk!
Ascension is a welcoming, diverse, and inclusive community of people who gather to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ, to give praise and thanks to God through the beauty of worship, and to love and serve God and our neighbors.
Keep, O Lord, your household the Church in your steadfast faith and love, that through your grace we may proclaim your truth with boldness, and minister your justice with compassion; for the sake of our Savior Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
Almighty and everlasting God, you have given to us your servants grace, by the confession of a true faith, to acknowledge the glory of the eternal Trinity, and in the power of your divine Majesty to worship the Unity: Keep us steadfast in this faith and worship, and bring us at last to see you in your one and eternal glory, O Father; who with the Son and the Holy Spirit live and reign, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
