Services at AscensionAscension is a welcoming, diverse, and inclusive community of people who gather to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ, to give praise and thanks to God through the beauty of worship, and to love and serve God and our neighbors.
Due to anticipated heat, the 11 a.m. service this Sunday, July 24, will be held in the air-conditioned Parish Hall at 12 W. 11th Street, around the corner from the church.
- Regular Worship Schedule
- Sunday 9am: Holy Eucharist at Side Altar
- Sunday 11am: Holy Eucharist in the Parish Hall with sermon, hymns & soloist
- Sunday 7pm: Service of Meditations and Sacrament, including chant, interfaith readings and communion
- Monday – Friday: 6pm at Side Altar

Almighty God, the fountain of all wisdom, you know our necessities before we ask and our ignorance in asking: Have compassion on our weakness, and mercifully give us those things which for our unworthiness we dare not, and for our blindness we cannot ask; through the worthiness of your Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Last Sunday we celebrated and blessed the beauty of God’s creation in our gardens around the church. At a special Garden Party coffee hour after the 11am service we honored those whose hearts and hands keep our gardens so special.
